The smallest country in the southern hemisphere, Swaziland is a friendly, land-locked kingdom bordered by South Africa and Mozambique.
However, UNAIDS estimates the national HIV infection rate of people aged 15 to 49 to be 33.4 percent, the highest in the world, a demoralising environment that has placed a strain on the country's health resources.
These placements give you an opportunity to help by working in schools and health centres promoting health issues, child care and HIV awareness.
