Short term costs:

Accommodation, beds, pillows, lighting
All on the ground transport
Project Materials for all project activities
Local skilled staff wages for all project work
Local wages for other support staff
Communications- mobile phones and internet costs
Medium term support:
Maintenance and upkeep of project over the next year i.e. chalk for classrooms, removal of alien species, reserve maintenance, rangers training.
Long term commitment:
Donation of £75 per volunteer to the Lubombo Conservancy Trust Fund - for development and support of other projects such as fence removal and game introduction and relocation.
£135 - Weekend activities and orientation days in Swaziland
In-country orientation and training days
Food on weekends off
Accommodation on weekends off
Transport to weekend location
Activities on weekends off –White Water Rafting, Horse Riding, Caving and/or Mountain Biking, all transport and park fees

Project Leader wages, flights and on the ground expenses
Project Leader training
Safety equipment and first aid kit, emergency contingency planning, continual risk assessments
Repatriation assistance and emergency back-up funds
Quest UK staff costs – pre-departure support and 24 hour back-up from the UK, including 24 hour communication availability with leaders.
Quest expedition doctor – 24-hour medical advice and support when you are overseas
Negotiating with flight companies and insurers to provide the best deal for you

To the project:
Year round planning and development of project- including assessing aims and objectives for the project in the short, medium and long term
Recces by Operations Managers to assess validity of project aims, maintain quality of project site and continually check conditions for volunteers

Selection costs associated with volunteers (Phone Interview/Open Evening, support when signing up)
Selection costs associated with Project leaders
Marketing and administration costs
Office rental and costs
