Quest Sabbaticals

EXPEDITION LIFE

Accommodation
A maximum of 16 persons can be accommodated per training course to enable the Trainers to give individual attention to each student. Sleeping accommodation during the course is in a rustic safari camp in a secluded part of the "Big 4" Lubombo Conservancy. It will be basic but comfortable, with basic toilet facilities. We recommend that all clients bring a thermarest/inflatable mattress. You will share a tent with one other person, unless you prefer to bring your own tent.

Food & drink
You will be eating simple food such as a rice or potato based dish with vegetable stew and/or sausages/chicken with salad. We provide  water purified with Iodine for the project phase.

Course Leaders
An experienced and dedicated team of wildlife and conservation specialists conduct the course. A practical approach to the training is applied and most of the lectures happen in the field. The majority of the lecturing is done by Prof Ara Monadjem, Roland Throne and Kim Roques, all of whom are experienced conservationists and guides in Africa.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Students must arrive by 12:00 am at the Mbuluzi Game Reserve entrance gate, the day the course commences. Students will be free to depart at 2.00 pm on the last day of the course. QUEST will help arrange travel to these meeting points.
